Probate
Probate is a court-supervised proceeding that takes place after someone dies with property in his or her name where one of the following scenarios apply:

the deceased person had only a will,

the deceased person did not have a living trust, and/or will,

summary proceedings are unavailable.
Probate is typically handled by attorneys that are familiar with the probate process and involves the filing of a great deal of paperwork with the court. Before the persons who inherit the deceased person’s estate receive their inheritance, the lawyer’s fees and court fees are paid from estate property.

I want to remark how pleased I am with Mr. Livingston and the legal work he did for me. I needed a Will and Trust, so I Googled a request for my area with a specific request for what was needed. Within minutes, I received a phone call from one lawyer which was boiler-plate language not addressing my request. A few minutes later I received a phone call from Mr. Livingston, who addressed my initial request; was professional, but pleasant. After a brief discussion, he gave me a price quote and what documents I would receive; explained the entire process; time-frame for completion; and approximate costs for court filing fees; gave exact instructions for notarizing documents, etc.

David is a very nice and helpful attorney. While most attorneys these days charge you upfront to say hello, he listened to my concerns and spent a great deal of time with me.
